5 cloves garlic
2 cups heavy cream
5 tbsp butter
4 oz cream cheese
3/4 cup Parmesan
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp herbs de Provence
Melt butter over medium-low heat. • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30–45 seconds, until fragrant (don’t brown it). • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for 2–3 minutes. • Stir in Parmesan and cream cheese a handful at a time, whisking until melted and smooth. • Season with salt, black pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg or red pepper if using.
